Dowling Gains Acceptance on Two Major Government Panels
The NSW Government last year announced plans to reform its procurement of ICT professional services by announcing that it would tender for a Whole of Government ICT Services.Dowling has been accepted as part of this program.
The Australian Federal Government has a panel called the The ICT Management Consultant multi use list (ICT MCL) Dowling has been approved to be part of this list which means that IT departments in the Federal Government have a simple way to access our specialist advice.

Dowling Consulting is pleased to announce three exciting milestones for the firm:
1. Acquisition of Itilics Australia
Dowling has acquired Itilics which specialises in training, consulting and software for ‘IT Service Management’ (i.e. helping CIOs to run IT like a business). Itilics is a market leader in this arena, and will significantly enhance our current IT service management practice. As of 1 July 2008, all Itilics staff, clients and methodologies will be fully absorbed and integrated under the Dowling brand. The current managing director of Itilics, Mr. Jeff Scotland, will join Dowling as the Director in charge of our IT service management practice.
2. Creation of Dowling Europe
Dowling Europe will be headquartered in Frankfurt, and will focus on Germany, Netherlands and Belgian markets. Dowling Europe will work with clients to improve asset utilisation, productivity and IT service management using our unique ‘service excellence’ methodology. Dowling Europe will be a Joint Venture with Vancore GmbH. Vancore was a natural choice because they are well established in Europe, and their strategy development focus is highly complementary with our analytical and implementation services. Mr. Reinhard Vanhoefen will be the Director responsible for representing and growing Dowling Europe.
3. Creation of Vancore Australia
Vancore Australia will be headquartered in Sydney, and will focus on Australian and New Zealand markets. Vancore Australia will work with clients in crafting winning strategies using its unique ‘process driven’ methodology. Dowling will be a Joint Venture partner in the creation of Vancore Australia. “We were a natural choice for Vancore because we already work with the type of clients that would benefit from Vancore’s unique approach to strategy development” said Mr. Ganesh Kashyap who will be the Director responsible for representing and growing Vancore Australia.
