With over 30 years in the IT Industry Derek has worked in some of the largest corporations in Australia that encompassing the Banking, Finance, Retail, Health, Insurance, Government and Manufacturing sectors.
His passion for service delivery excellence and best practices has seen benefits for organisations that have set global standards in this area. His experience has included extensive ITIL® and Service Management consulting, implementation and certification training, IT operations and infrastructure Management, technical and support experience, strategy development, helpdesk and call centre management, outsourcing, IT security, project management, knowledge management, disaster-recovery, and process re-engineering.
Derek has tertiary qualifications in Business and is certified in ITIL®, COBIT and Project Management. He has work extensively in Australia and overseas and has both local and international awards for outstanding achievement in the IT profession.
