Neale Rees

Neale has more than 20 years hands on experience in dealing with all facets of the supply chain, from purchasing, production planning, forecasting, manufacturing, scheduling, and warehousing through to distribution.
Most recently Neale has assisted a client in their evaluation of Warehouse Management, Transport Management and Delivery Management Software. Development of test scenarios and business requirements was an essential part of the vendor selection process.
Neale has implemented a forecasting package to the Asian Zone, which standardised processes and allowed synergies to be captured. Forecast accuracy is a key feed to the efficient operation of a supply chain. In this project, Neale focused on accuracy and developed a reporting tool which highlighted the delivery to customer misses. This initiative resulted in an improved ‘delivery in full on time’ (DIFOT) performance of 35%.
Neale project managed an SAP WM implementation in 3 separate warehouses. He has extensive knowledge in the MM, SD and PP modules of SAP. Developing and delivering the training packages for this project and designing the high level configuration for the warehouse has given Neale a thorough understanding and detailed appreciation of SAP warehousing. This 18 month project was delivered on time and on budget.
Neale has a passion for ensuring the effective use of systems, efficient process flows and the measurement of KPI's that improve the business outcome rather than simply measuring activity efficiency. Neale has strength in his ability to analyse the details of a supply chain operation and understand the business impacts of the decision making process.
Neale has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the University of Queensland.
